The Valley Chamber Chorale has sung by invitation for the Arizona Music Educators Association and the Butterfield Musicale. This SATB group also has performed in Arizona State University’s Gammage Auditorium, the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts, the Trinity Cathedral Center for the Arts, and in other select venues throughout the Valley of the Sun. The twenty-four men and women of the Valley Chamber Chorale come from Phoenix, Scottsdale, Mesa, Tempe, Gilbert, Peoria, and Anthem in order to rehearse and perfect their choral art. In addition to their interesting concert programs, the group — attired in stunning Elizabethan costumes — occasionally presents a Renaissance Yuletide Dessert Feast.
Christopher Samuel is a graduate of Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ, where he was mentored by Dr. Joseph Flummerfelt, America’s 2004 Conductor of the Year. Dr. Samuel’s 24 year tenure with the Chorale has engendered the refined blend which audiences find so appealing.
Founded in 1988, the group currently is celebrating its 24th season. It is one of the longest running not-for-profit choral organizations in the Valley. The Chorale is always looking for additional talent. For more information, or to schedule an audition, please call Dr. Samuel at 602.678.1063, or email .
